Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will declare the results of HSC general stream today.

A total of 29,517 students from Ahmedabad appeared for Std XII Commerce examinations this year.

The exams were conducted peacefully at 104 buildings, six zones, 14 centres and 14 sub-centres of the city.

From the rural section, a total of 17, 924 students appeared in the examinations from 15 main centres and one sub-centre.

This will be the first time that the students will be graded on the basis of percentiles instead of percentages.

The calculation of percentiles will be mentioned at the back of the marksheet for the students' perusal.

Also, this is the first time that GSHSEB will not declare the list of toppers with a view on decreasing the pressure on students.

The marksheets will be available to the students from 10am at their school premises.
