Samsung is continuing to give awesome devices to customers with it’s Galaxy Series. Samsung Galaxy Ace is another attempt to offer Android experience on 3.5 inch Touchscreen and powerful 800MHz CPU.
Galaxy Ace is mid range smartphone with specs pretty much similar to other Galaxy Series Android phones with Awesome built. Device design and Screen resolution were enough to impress me at first look.

3.5 inch Capacitive Touchscreen with HVGA resolution of (320 x 480 pixels) is quite responsive complementing the looks and squared design of Phone similar to upcoming Samsung Galaxy S II but somewhat thicker and more pocket friendly.
With 800MHz Processor and 278MB RAM, Galaxy Ace is more powerful than others in same range and moreover, it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box.
5.0 MP Camera with LED Flash capture photos in the image quality I expected but the Videos recorded were not so upto the mark as it is QVGA at 15FPS. Even the sound quality is decent though not much loud and the headphones provided looks somewhat cheap.
Galaxy Ace comes with changeable back covers- Black textured and Glossy white. Memory card slots are given at right side so, no question of switching off and removing battery for microSD. On left side, we have Volume rocker but no dedicated Camera shot key.
Among other standard features, it has Wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2Dp, 3G (7.2 MbPs HSDPA) and A-GPS.
Being Android, you get all necessary Android apps namely Gmail, Gtalk and Google Maps with navigation support. Samsung TouchWiz 3.0 UI is just perfect offering intuitive interface and sliding Notification bar.
1350 mAh Battery stores lot of juice which is quoted at 640 hours of standby (in 2G, 420 h in 3G) and up to 11 hours of talk time (in 2G, 6 h 30 min in 3G).
Overall, I was completely impressed with Galaxy Ace and think that it is a value for money deal. Price in Indian Markets is Rs. 14,200 INR which includes 2GB MicroSD and can be expanded upto 32GB.
